LOW ‘A’ DOUBLINGS

This is the same as a Low ‘G’ Doubling except that the note being doubled in the middle is Low ‘A’!

 Order of Events:
1.         Starting note - ‘F’ in example 10.
2.         Lift High ‘G’ gracenote.
3.         Change to Low ‘A’
4.         Put down High ‘G’ gracenote.
5.         Double Low ‘A’ with a ‘D’ gracenote.
6.         End on Low ‘A’.
When coming from High ‘G’ remember to use the Thumb Gracenote (example 11):
1.         High ‘G’.
2.         Open thumb Gracenote.
3.         Change to Low A
4.         Close Thumb Gracenote.
5.         Double Low ‘A’ with a ‘D’ gracenote.
6.         End on Low ‘A’.
This is different when coming from High ‘A’ (example 12):
 1.         High ‘A’.
2.         Put down High ‘A’ (move thumb last).
3.         Double Low ‘A’ with a ‘D’ gracenote.
4.         End on Low ‘A’.
