Chromaticism on Medieval Bagpipes

As with many bagpipes, medieval pipes have some chromatic possibilities. These sometimes involve altering blowing a little to help bring a note in tune and depending on the climactic conditions, you need to be ready to use the alternative fingering given. However, with most makes of pipes these notes are actually fairly well in tune and quite stable.

X=hole closed (finger on the chanter) and O= hole open (finger off the chanter)
